Rendering of the Hampton Inn at Forbes Crossing
Saletin Real Estate Group recently held a groundbreaking for a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Hotel that will be located at the new Forbes Crossing shopping center in Foxborough, MA. The firm collaborated with attorney Frank Spillane of Spillane & Spillane, and Eric Prive, Project Manager at DiPrete Engineering to successfully achieve regulatory permits for the hotel, free-standing pad sites, and renovations to the existing retail strip building.
Forbes Crossing, located just off I-95 and only one mile to I-495, is centrally located between two major New England cities, Boston and Providence. Also nearby is Gillette Stadium, the Xfinity Center, Foxborough Business Park with tenants such as Meditech, Lockheed Martin, and GE, as well as hotels and 250 luxury apartments.
DiPrete Engineering worked through the new hotel’s permitting process, completing land surveys, regulatory compliance, and site engineering. The firm also provided landscape design which included detailed plantings and surface textures to enhance the visibility at the entrance and around the hotel. Reinforced grass was used for emergency fire access around the building.

Site-work for the new shopping center well underway and various leases have been signed with local and national retailers.
