The Portsmouth Planning Board recently approved the concept master plan for a 19-lot single-family home residential subdivision. The new subdivision will be located on a 12-acre parcel off East Main Road in Portsmouth, RI.

KREG Realty, a Rhode Island-based real estate and management company, has teamed with DiPrete Engineering to design and construct the development. DiPrete Engineering is providing civil engineering, regulatory permitting, and surveying services. The team is also working to solve an existing stormwater runoff problem within the area. Attorney Jeremiah C. Lynch III of Moore, Virgadamo & Lynch Ltd. is representing the builder through Planning Board review.

“Careful thought and planning went into this design,” said Chris Duhamel, Principal at DiPrete Engineering. “The design incorporates elements from similar Portsmouth developments to ensure the subdivision will live in harmony with the surrounding area.”

The lots will each measure about a half-acre total. A new road will be constructed off of Ferreira Avenue and Pleasant View Avenue to create access to the subdivision. Construction of the subdivision is expected to be complete by Spring 2020.
