DiPrete’s Newport Branch is Hard at Work

DiPrete Engineering’s Newport branch is gearing up for another busy summer. The lead team which includes Christopher Duhamel, Principal, Molly Titus, Project Manager, Joseph Duhamel, Project Engineer, Skyler Mills, Project Engineer, and Alex Avery, Landscape Architect, is currently involved in a number of projects on Aquidneck Island and parts of South County.

newport officeThe Newport team is working with BankNewport and DBVW Architects on the redevelopment and renovation of the company’s original building located at 10 Washington Square in Newport. DiPrete is providing site/civil improvements including a new parking lot, pedestrian access connections, and utility service upgrades. In addition, the team is assisting with local permitting and construction administration.

DiPrete is also working on a new hotel on America’s Cup Ave. in Newport in which they’ve received all permitting approvals and are assisting with ongoing construction administration alongside the project team. They are also providing civil engineering, regulatory permitting, and surveying services for a new subdivision in Portsmouth.

The Newport team is currently collaborating with the Town of South Kingstown as well to provide land surveying, civil engineering, and permitting services to support the design and construction of a 3,400-foot bike path spur. They are also handling land surveying, site engineering, and regulatory permitting for the William C. O’Neill Bike Path located in Narragansett. The team is also providing engineering services for a new subdivision and a new storage building in Tiverton.
