DiPrete Survey Update: Two New Surveyors Join the Team – June 2026

As we move into early summer, our survey team continues to manage a high volume of active work while maintaining a consistent focus on quality, responsiveness, and reliable project delivery.

Current Field Operations

We are now currently operating with seven active survey crews in the field, allowing us to support multiple projects across the region at once. To help sustain this pace and reduce pressure on our staff, we added two junior field technicians who started June 1. These additions will provide valuable support in the field and improve overall team capacity as demand continues to increase.

Recent Project Highlights

The team has completed and is actively supporting a range of projects, including:

  • Completion of an 80-acre survey in West Greenwich, RI for a proposed residential subdivision.
  • Ongoing survey work at Quonset Point, supporting new development and expansion activities near the airport.
  • Completion of a full survey of the former Providence Journal site.
  • Completion of a bridge survey in Cumberland, RI to support design work for bridge replacements along I-295.

Scheduling

Demand for survey services has increased, with a significant number of new requests continuing to come in, many with firm deadlines. As a result, we are currently scheduling field work approximately 2.5 weeks out, with new projects now being placed into the first week of July. To help ensure we can accommodate upcoming work and maintain reliable turnaround times, early coordination is critical. Project teams are encouraged to submit survey requests as early as possible to secure time on the schedule.

To keep weekly schedules focused on deadline-driven priorities, we have been strategically shifting certain construction-related tasks to Saturdays. This typically includes stakeout and other non-critical items that arise later in the week. The survey crews have been receptive to this approach, and it has proven to be an effective way to maintain progress without disrupting the current week’s planned work.

Looking Ahead

With additional staff and a steady pipeline of projects ahead, the survey team is well positioned to continue supporting both ongoing and upcoming work. Maintaining clear communication and early planning will be key to keeping projects on track and delivering the best possible results for our clients.
