On May 27, 2026, DiPrete Engineering hosted its annual DiPrete & Greet: Remember the Reason event at Circe Prime in Cranston, RI. The evening was dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care and research. The event brought together colleagues, clients, and friends in support of the Hope Alzheimer’s Center in Cranston, which provides services to families and individuals facing the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease. As we move into early summer, our survey team continues to manage a high volume of active work while maintaining a consistent focus on quality, responsiveness, and reliable project delivery. Current Field Operations We are now currently operating with seven active survey crews in the field, allowing us to support multiple projects across the region at once. 50 North Apartments in North Kingstown, Rhode Island is a multifamily residential community developed by Tony Fiore that supports both housing growth and affordability in the region. Located at 50 South County Trail, the project adds thoughtfully planned housing while addressing environmental and regulatory considerations specific to the site. The development consists of 88 apartment units across 22 quad-plex buildings. As part of the Comprehensive Permit process, 25 percent of the units (22 apartments) are designated as low- and moderate-income

Tim Twohig, Environmental Specialist at DiPrete Engineering, sees firsthand that environmental fieldwork is truly a year-round effort – rain, heat, cold, and snow included. Rather than stopping when conditions change, the Environmental Services team adapts to them. The project broke ground in June 2025, with foundations being completed in December 2025. Steel erection is in progress with roof installation starting in February. DiPrete Engineering is proud to be part of the team rebuilding one of Rhode Island’s most beloved landmarks – the Matunuck Oyster Bar. Located on Succotash Road in Wakefield, the restaurant suffered a devastating fire in spring 2025, resulting in a total loss. The reconstruction effort presented unique challenges due to the site’s location within the environmentally sensitive jurisdiction of the Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) Special Area Management Plan for Potter Pond.
